I wanted to do another black/yellow painting.....a touch of Cerulean Blue + Cadmium Red also.
Hmmmmmmm, quite like the effect.

Marjorie, Love the way that light is coming in from the right and catching the dandies! It would be interesting to see the flowers go almost completely in to the dark on the left and splashes of the yellow coming through into the light. And your quirky vases are growing on me:)))
I like the effect too. Love the way the flowers on the right reflect the light coming in and the ones on the left depict subtle shadow. Have you ever checked out Fabio's blog - he paints flowers in watercolors? Another talented flower painter like yourself.
